Check out a radon monitor to test your home!
It is important to check your home for radon gas at least every five years, or after a home remodel. Two out of three Utah homes have unsafe radon gas levels.
Homeowners can borrow a continuous radon monitor from our Provo offices. Schedule a time to pick up the monitor here. There is a $25 fee, payable upon pick up (credit/debit card payments will be charged an additional $1.50 service fee). Results will be emailed to you.
More radon information, including radon levels in your zip code, how to purchase a home test kit ($10.95), a list of certified testers and mitigators, and other information, can be found at the Utah Department of Environmental Quality Radon Page, Radon.Utah.gov.
The radon monitor check-out is not suitable for real estate transactions. Real estate agents who need to test a home can find certified radon testers at Radon.Utah.gov.
