Utah Indoor Clean Air Act
The Utah Indoor Clean Air Act helps protect people from the harmful effects of secondhand smoke. The law bans smoking and vaping in all enclosed indoor public places and within 25 feet of any door, window, or air vent of buildings where smoking isn’t allowed.
Buildings open to the public must also post “No Smoking” signs at entrances or somewhere clearly visible when entering.
Businesses and organizations in Utah County can request free signs and decals from the Health Department to help maintain smoke-free spaces.
